Our self catering holiday chalet is situated on one of the best sites on the Penstowe country park which is six miles from Bude, North Cornwall. From the lounge windows and the patio there are uninterrupted views down the Coombe Valley to the sea beyond.

Please Note:
Due to the gradual slope leading to the chalet and steps leading into the conservatory the chalet may not be suitable for guests with some disabilities. No pets are allowed in the chalet except dogs for the blind and deaf. For the benefit of all our guests there is a strict no smoking policy. Please contact us with any queries you may have.

The chalet can accommodate four to six guests with a double bedroom and a bedroom with twin beds. There are two inflatable mattresses and a child’s zip bed for extra guests. It is comfortably furnished with a well equipped modern kitchen, bath/shower and electric wall heaters in all rooms. There is also a television with freeview, a vcr/dvd player and a cd/radio.

The facilities are enhanced with double glazing, a wonderful conservatory with an extensive patio allowing sun seekers to follow the sun around all day and then enjoy a gas bar-b-cue, drinks in the evening and watch the sun set over the sea (weather permitting!)

Included in the cost is free evening entertainment and disco in the cabaret suite, use of the bars, restaurant and the children’s club at the Penstowe Sport and Leisure Club.

Guests can also take temporary membership at the Club as an optional extra. The facilities include a 22 metre indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, indoor green bowls, pool tables, table tennis, tennis court, squash court, badminton court, amusement arcade. There is also a children’s play area and an outdoor swimming pool with children’s pool.

The Stables Bar serves bar food and has a take away menu and also some evening entertainment. A laundrette is also on site.
